Add a way to disable the menu icon #296

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Growl 1.3 has no way to disable the menubar icon (system bar icon, system icon,
claw in the bar).

Provide a way to disable the menubar icon.

If a user wants to go back into the preferences, they will need to be able to
do so either via spotlight, finder double click/cmd+o or via launchpad.

Please do read Issue 317 when addressing this; basically I would like it to be
possible have the menubar widget always on, always off, or on-demand, such that
it will only appear if new history has been logged, which gives a nice usable
mix.
