We'll have to wait and see if people can figure out how to perform a jailbreak
on the Touch first. After that, it
should be fairly easy to add.

Color me confused - I thought this app was the one that did Jailbreak? Or do
you
just wrap the implementation in a pretty Cocoa wrapper?

It does do jailbreak itself. However, the ipod touch is quite different from
the iPhone. No one has figured out
how to perform a jailbreak on it so far. I don't have one, so I how am I
supposed to figure it out myself?

Is this working for touch or not? 1.1.1 or 1.1.2?
Cheers.

When trying to use with iPod Touch, I get the following error:
Connection failed: Couldn't get baseband version.
This is an already hacked iPod Touch (1.1.1 TIFF exploit jailbreakme.com method)

+1, can't get baseband version. Does an iPod Touch even *have* a baseband
version?
Perhaps you can just disable the "Activate/Deactivate" buttons in this case and
let
the rest of the app still run.

Seems to work on the touch now. One issue I had was the folder:
$HOME/Library/iTunes/iPhone Software Updates
didn't exist, but I had:
$HOME/Library/iTunes/iPod Software Updates
instead. Once I created that other folder it worked start to finish.
I have a 8gb touch.

Worked for me on ipod touch v 1.1.4. Followed the jailbreak then install ssh
instructions in the help and everything went smoothly.
I can now ssh into my ipt but I have much to learn as the shell is a little
different
from regular os x.
Thanks for sharing this awesome software!
