HUGE SMS PROBLEM!!!HELP!!! :( :( :(

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. received an sms not in latin characters

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
on the sms icon i can only see the number 2. when i click on it on the 
iphone screen i go into the sms section and directly go back to home.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
i am using an iphone 1.1.1 downgraded to 1.0.2.
so now i am using 1.0.2 downgraded jailbreaked with independence 1.3 beta 
and anysim 1.1

Please provide any additional information below.
while i was recharging my iphone i go a new sms, with the letter P and a 
square meaning this is another language not latin characters i think 
Arabic since i am living in Lebanon.
i click on view it, the iphone freezed and then went back to home with a 
nb 1 on the sms icon.
i clicked on the sms icon, i went inside the sms section with a blank 
bacjground (no sms there) and suddenly went back to home.
so i am stuck now i cannot receive any sms, i searched the web and found 
this solution but it didn t work.

SOLVED i deleted the sms.db file in the SMS folder.
the sms is working again normally.

please intall SMSd (SMS delete) app for iphone.

you can  now navigate to the corrupted sms and delete it. the your inbox should 
be okay.
