What feature do you want to see in an upcoming release?

Dear Peter, the symbol you use for the icon while the counter is running
is a triangle, i.e. a symbol like the play. I was wondering if the pause symbol
is more natural in this case.

Thanks a lot for your nice sw

Yes, I see what you mean and agree in principle. But the alternative is also a
bit problematic.

The thing is that we can have two opinions on the meaning of the symbol in the
menu bar. Either we can think of it as
informational - then it should be some status icon saying that we are currently
recording or idle. Or we can think of it as
a suggestion of what can be done - then it can be like your suggestion.

My main issue is the play symbol (triangle), which can be seen informationally
as "I am currently active", but as a
suggestion to "become active". The pause symbol has the same problem.

Perhaps a green triangle when inactive, and a red circle when recording. It's
consistent with voice recorders at least...

Also, the yin-yang symbol for "idle" is not very good.

What I really want is the KronoX icon overlayed with mini-buttons, but I'm not
very good at designing icons.
