Wrong date selections when moving from summary to detailed view

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Click Summary button and then the Month button.
2. Then click the button for Detailed View. (This displays the current
expected info for date range Jan 2010.)
3. Then press the Today button.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would expect the display not to change, but instead the date range is now
showing Feb 2010, which doesn't make sense. At least the summary view data
is correctly blank.

Interesting! This only happens when pressing the Today button. Selecting Go to 
Today in the View menu works 
fine. Hopefully it's easy to fix.
