Works for me, "make install" copying all files that is. Is that file actually
there? It should be a small text file ~3.3KB in size. That error message means
Photivo either could not find the file or it was empty or it couldn’t be read
at all.
The version number looks weird. What steps from what website exactly did you
follow? The Photivo wiki? Or maybe almost done Photivo package that will likely
appear in the official Fedora repo?

I used the experimental repository provided by Thibault North and Gerd
(gvegidy) as written on the wiki page. Maybe the dependencies for the Fedora
build aren't up to date?

I too have this problem when using the pre-build yum install. I've pulled down
the source from the repo, but it seems like the so called instructions on the
"download and setup" are a tiny bit brief. I believe it involves installing
qt-devel & gcc-c++ - anything else?

You've seen these? http://photivo.org/photivo/download_and_setup/linux
So called navigation on the left ;-)

This is the same problem I have seen.
I also tried getting the fc17 src.rpm and doing an 'rpmbuild --rebuild...' but
the resulting rpm produces the same results.
The dir /usr/lib64/qt4/share/photivo doesn't exist, which indicates that the
rpm package isn't installing all the files as it should...ie the rpm spec is
short of a few instructions.
I'll have a snoop about and see what I can find.
Cheers,
Terry
