Crash on dual monitors #38

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. No positive. For two of us, if we slide Pixus across to a second monitor
it disappears and crashes each time we try to open it subsequently

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect to have it work across monitors.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest as of 5/11/2009

Please provide any additional information below.

I have tested on both Windows XP SP3 and Intel Mac 10.5.6 and I didn't see the
problem. And I have traced 36 multi-screen dragging actions worldwide since R69
with
no bounce (exit of the app). It is supposed to work in most cases. Right now, I
can't
tell the reason. Please keep me updated about your progress.

Thank you very much for information:)

I tried to drag it to my other monitor and the window disappeared. The app
still opens, but I can't get the
window back. What should I do?

Thanks!

1) Make sure you are using the Free Drag (Multi-screen Drag) feature instead of
dragging the title bar.
2) Linux can't properly run Pixus without compatible windows manager.
3) If not the points above, please take some screenshots and I will figure it
out.

Thx:)

Can reproduce

Mac OSX 10.6.2

Will crash 100% of the times. Have latest update. Unusable. It used to work but
not
anymore.

Can anyone recommend an alternative? (Mac OS)

I have experienced crash in Adobe Air 2 Beta regardless of the monitor
configuration. What's your platform?

I'm also seeing a similar issue. I'm not experiencing crashes, but Pixus is
unusable on my second display. (Main display on the right, second on left.) I'm
using Windows 7, with AIR 1.5.3

Thank you for the report. But could you describe more about the unsuable issue?

I have tested Pixus on Mac for the cases of secondary display on all for sides.
And I haven't got the crash/non-working result. I will test it on Windown
later. Right now, when you have rearranged the display where Pixus was, it will
disappear and will be unable to find even using Find Panels until restarted. I
will fix that.

New user with same problem, thanks for this thread: Problem solved
"Make sure you are using the Free Drag (Multi-screen Drag) feature instead of
