Crash in second call to new image_binary in Release-version (not in Debug)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Error message:
The instruction an "0x00425e01" referenced memory at "0x0000000".
The memory could not be "written".

Have not been able to reproduce the error after restart of the computer.
