I have exactly the same problem; I've been very keen to use skypetogrowl and
still
am, but it just doesn't load on Win 7 64-bit. Very grateful for all the hard
work
that goes into the project by the way.

I get the "stopped working" message on 64-bit Windows 7 also.

I tried running it in XP and Vista compatibility mode and running it as
administrator, but it still stopped working.

The only problem is that the code was compiled for Any CPU which seems to be
looking for a 64-bit version of Skype4COM when run on a 64-bit OS. The 64-bit
version doesn't exist, so the program just crashes. Compiling to x86 instead
makes it use the 32-bit Skype4COM library which works just fine. If you can't
compile it yourself, I've attached the compiled exe. Just replace the exe you
currently have with this one and it should work.
