First of all, if you have any Haxies, InputManagers, SIMBL plugins or
similar operating system hacks installed, please remove them first, restart
the program, and make sure the bug is reproducible without them.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Downloaded the last photo from http://www.alannahmyles.com/photos.php (print
quality)
2. Web quality is displayed ok. Downloaded one more in print quality and it's
displayed properly
3. Tried at two Macs, the same result.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I see inverted colors.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Xee 2.1.1 on 10.6.2 and 10.6

Please provide any additional information below.
Also, I opened the file with Preview, which opens it correctly, I added some
contrast just for fun
and tried to save photo when I was told that I cannot save it and Preview shown
that the file size
was expected to be 0 KB.

It's probably a JPEG in some CMYK colourspace. It's really tricky to work out
which way
the colours work in those.

Opened it directly in Safari too and it worked.

In Chrome, the colours are not inverted, but also not anywhere near correct. So
it
probably is a CMYK JPEG.

I beg to differ. Only Safari and Chrome show colors correctly, as they can
display embedded color profiles. Opera
and Firefox cannot.
(Firefox can, but that's not turned on by default)

Here's how it looks like seen from Exposé.

Just tested in Xee 3.0, which uses OS X image rendering to handle colourspace
conversions, and it is shown inverted. It is also shown inverted in Preview.

Just going to brush this one off as an OS X bug. If anybody still cares about
it, please report it to Apple. Once they fix it, and once I release 3.0, it
should work.
