Eventually I would actually like to see implementations of standards published by the actual body that creates the standard, in this case it would be the RCP London https://www.rcplondon.ac.uk/projects/outputs/national-early-warning-score-news-2 - they should be taking ownership of these code artefacts and publishing 'official' implementations. But I'm not holding my breath.
Naidihr is me. If you look at it in a mirror 😁
Thanks for your help Marcus (pacharanero). Interested, where does that identity come from?

Aha, that was rather dumb of me not to have noticed!
where does that identity come from?
Wherever you like - ie you can use a personal identity, or a corporate one. In the end it's whatever identity you think users of the NEWS2 library would trust most. For me, if a NEWS2 library was published by a healthcare organisation I'd trust it more perhaps. Not sure
Thanks Marcus . I added the personal identity and short bio . I think it has already been forked onto open e-Obs by Ian McNicol.
I’m writing a blog covering some of the design decisions and interpretations we had to make in designing the digital NEWS2. I’ll publish that and put out a call to see if anyone would be willing to create a tract or angular component around it. Also to FHIR enables it by modifying the json object.
Fran Beadle is keen for NWIS to use it. I’ll be having some discussion with them.
Cheers
GitHub and open source in general are a community. Individuals in the community offer up code, and there is a lot of code. One way that potential re-users of libraries (and potential future OSS contributors) will assess a repository is with the 'identity' that is presented on GitHub.
This identity can be an individual (in which case a real name and biography really help in deciding if this code is going to be worth reusing)
'naidihr' is not a known person to me, neither does it appear to be an organisation
Consider renaming the account or creating an organisation to hold this code.
I'd be happy to host it under OpenHealthHub CIC https://github.com/open-health-hub where we also have other projects including (soon) open-eObs (the IP is being transferred to OHH CIC by @robdykedotcom @neovahealth
Or creating a 'The Christie Hospital' GitHub organisation would also be very powerful.
Or alternatively listing it under your own personal Rhidian Bramley GH account if you have one, but make sure there's a bio and an avatar
