Hi,

I am a subscriber and wanted to try the new WIndows 8 app.
But it can't connect to the server.

It is working for a while and then show "Comms Failure".

I am using my Android, and iSpy on webpage and that works fine.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I Am using Windows 8 Pro and iSpy 4.7.7.0

Kind regards, Magnus Finbom

Hi, Some additional details...
Apparently the APp show the server name.. and even list the cameras I have, but
it fails to read images, streams etc...
Thats when the error is displayed.

I am using the app on same computer taht is running the server.

Regards, Magnus Finbom

I've just upgraded my PC to Windows 8 and am also having a similar problem with
the Win8 app.

I'm running Windows 8 Pro and iSpy 4.7.7.0. My app has not worked since I
installed it. All I can see is my computer name, but no cameras are listed and
I don't see any images. On the timeline it says loading for a while then comes
up "Comms failure". The usual windows app is working fine from the Desktop.

If you need any further information pease let me know.
Kind regards, Ian
