Twitch commands don't show in the command prompt or voting window #1

I'm still having an issue with the script. It looks like everything is in place. i even changed the script path to the directory even tho its already laid out in the zip file. When i run the script the voting window pops up and looks like everything is all set to go. it has all the pre set commands for dark souls (i left them in just to test out the format.) to set this script up i literally just input all my user info ( my twitch screen name in all the designated fields and my authentication code ). so everything should just run. however when i type in the twitch chat box nothing appears in the voting window or the command prompt screen. it just pings twitch every once in a while.

The IRC bot is a pretty naïve implementation, so I'm not 100% sure why it wouldn't be working. What OS are you using? It might be worth looking into using a better developed bot for this instead. It should be simple enough to plug in, you just need something that gives you what people enter into the chat so you can check for the specified actions.

i'm using windows 7 ill test it on windows 8.1.

this is the other script i used and it works https://github.com/aidraj/twitch-plays but doesn't have the voting or custom command scripts.

The IRC client works great. i figured out my problem. I didn't know i needed a # before my username for the channel name.
