Opening the keyboard sometimes resizes the desktop viewing area #308

Define: desktop viewing area - the section of the Android device's screen that
displays the server computer's desktop

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Begin a session: start the client, connect to the server (android-vnc-viewer
settings: input mode - touch mouse pan and zoom, scaling - 1:1).

2. In landscape mode (portrait not supported in this version/with these
settings). On the server (which has three monitors integrated into one
desktop), there is a program windowed in the left monitor of the desktop with a
text-box input at the bottom of the screen. Selecting this text box via the
vnc-viewer client displays the Android zoom/keyboard buttons. I then select the
keyboard box to open the keyboard.

3. Very rarely (1-5% of the time), the keyboard will resize the desktop viewing
area on the Android device so that I can see both the keyboard and the input
box. Most of the time (95-99%), the keyboard opens floating above the input
box, blocking it from view.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I would either like an option to toggle the resizing of the desktop viewing
area when the keyboard is opened or closed; otherwise, I would always like it
to be resized so that I can see what I am entering.
