I face the same issue.
Running it manually from the JAR files starts up the application with
everything visible and clickable, but after some editing it stops responding.

Apple released a revised version of these updates:
http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1572 (10.7, 10.8+)
http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1573 (10.6-only)
Someone please try and let me know if that helps

The link to the 10.6-only download is dead. However, this seems to update java
to 1.6.0_51, which I am already running on the mac (OSX 10.6.8), which DIYLC
doesn't play nice with.

1.6.0_51 is supposedly problematic

I guess we will need to wait for Apple to fix this one - there doesn't seem to
be a tractable way of upgrading java from 1.6.0_51 on OSX 10.6 (Snow Lion).

Seems like apple have the java update for 10.6 back up -
http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1573
After installing this and the latest version of DIYLC (3.28.0; which may not be
necessary), everything is working again.

Hi Gentlemen,
Could you please help me?
I have downloaded the latest version for MAC OS (actually I'm running it under
10.8.4): the application starts, but when I try to select anything from the
different menus it says <no templates>.
Thanks in advance for your kind support!
Best Regads,
Pier

you're clicking on the wrong part of the button. That arrow is for component
templates that you can create later on (see
