Any Google basemap attribution white bottom bar never goes away once there

When I'm viewing a Google basemap, there is a white bar along the bottom of the 
map with the copyright on the left side and a link to the terms of use on the 
right. When I switch from the Google basemap to any non-Google basemap, the 
white bar and terms of use remain (but not the copyright text) and sometimes 
cover the new basemap's copyright/terms of use. See attached for an example of 
the Google terms of use still visible after switching to Bing:
