Compatibility with Winzip 11 split archives #24

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Winzip uses a custom way to split archives, currently PeaZip supports split
archives as created by WinRar, 7-Zip, and split utilities like HJSplit or *x
split command.

No plans so far for other proprietary split schemes.
Plain split, as currently implemented, is the method with widest compatibility
with other archivers and file handling tools, anyway due to the popularity of
WinZip split archives (the issue was submitted a while ago, when the project
was still on SourceForge) I'll keep an eye on this issue.
