I also receive this message, only upon initial launch and first dial attempt.
Subsequent dial attempts function properly.

Could you precise server... ? Did it work before ?
iPod or iPhone ?
Wifi enabled or not ?
3G or not ?
...

I'm not a wizard ;-) I need information to resolve the issue. On my device
Siphon
works fine.

1) I don't know what precise server is.
2) ipod
3) Yes
4) no

You should know which sip provider, have you used ? ;-)
It seems there is a bug in iPhone O2 3.0 for iPod, because when wifi is down, it
can't enabled it. it's weird.

The solution you need to launch safari (for example) and after run Siphon.

Could you confirm if all users use ipd touch ?

i wait
after for a couple of seconds it works.

Amending my original submission, this registration error message occurs every
other
call attempt, beginning with the first. The second is connected properly, the
third
is not, the fourth is, etc.

1) les.net
2) iPod Touch 2G w/ OS 3.0
3) WiFi always enabled

sip.voiparound.com
iPod Touch 1G 3.0
WiFi enabled
Siphon v2.08

First, third, fifth, seventh, etc. times that i call: 'Registration Error,
Default status message'

Every other time: It says I'm 'Calling...' the person i'm suppose to be
calling, but the call ends before it reaches
that number. Just ends the call.

To Comment 13: I had this same issue, but upon logging on through the computer
it
seems that this message represents that you are all out of minouts

I think your problem appears because you don't connect microphone (issue 288).
I don't know why Apple has changed audio initialization process. Now if you
don't
have microphone, you can't enabled audio input service. But it's weird because
even
initialization, audio input service can be enabled !!!

Now I ask to connect microphone before to phone (place a call).

I just uploaded Siphon 2.1.0 rc2 on this site.

I'm also getting the same message but everytime! It never works. Why is this?
And why is the error message so horrible?
