Everyday 1800NMC are being mined and as per the policy of most mining pools, that all gets dumped on the few exchanges where Namecoin is listed. For any normal coin this shouldn't be an issue, but sadly for Namecoin there is less $500 of daily trading volume (forget about what's reported to CMC) and now with Livecoin's closure, the only place where you can trade NMC in non-negligible amounts is Coinex. With no one seemingly wanting to speculating on what is perceived to be a 'dead' coin, there will be no end to the decline in price relative to BTC if we can't find buyers for, at the very least, the daily issuance of newly minted NMC.
If the price of NMC continues to fall relative to BTC there will be a point where Namecoin will be more trouble that it's worth for miners and thereby they'd likely stop supporting the project.
It is imperative we make it a priority to get NMC listed on other exchanges to ensure that the game theoretic mechanism Namecoin depends on to work is not threatened any more than it already has been.

Please note that while I was able to confirm that Upbit and Coinbase do not charge a listing fee, and simply did not include exchanges that stated they charge listing fees for new coins (eg. Liquid), I could not find anything one way or another from the others found below regarding the matter. The easiest way to know is to invest the 10-15 minutes per CEX and await for their response.
