I can confirm the missing preview pictures. I'm a total newbie, have installed Stable Diffusion WebUI DirectML for the very first time three days ago. Running on Windows 11.

I checked the HTML tag for the image element in the preview column (see screenshot). The folder specified in the path with the weird "/file:" prefix exists, but is empty except for one file "data.json". Doesn't seem to contain any user data except for that data.json. No pictures at all.

The extension's commit/timestamp is "main | dad4e456 | 2023-11-04 18:34:31". SD DirectML WebUI: "version: 1.7.0 | python: 3.10.11 | torch: 2.0.0+cpu | xformers: N/A | gradio: 3.41.2 | checkpoint: 7f6146b8a9"

Hope this helps :)

Just chiming in to say I have this exact same issue. The prompts are still saving in the data JSON, but the preview images suddenly stopped saving.

I'm having the same issue as well. It seems to have broken after updating A1111 to v1.7.0

I managed to fix this by going into "Settings > Prompt History > Save Thumbnail" and selecting "thumbnail" in the droplist (it was defaulting on "none"). Then a restart of the web ui.

Quick edit: it doesn't fix the older entries.

Nice ... that fixes it. Thanks!
