According to Asura, Lost Rigger Cove (http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Lost_Rigger_Cove) has M2 trees which should not block line of sight, and other M2s which are parts of the structure which should. This is probably a good spot to look for flags relating to whether LOS is enforced for a given doodad instance.
