This is an issue with aircrack-ng and your wireless card; not Wifite.

See this thread for more information on getting aircrack-ng to see your
broadcom card.

You will probably need to install drivers for the b43 chipset...

I recommend buying a more compatible wireless card that works out-of-the-box...

      Alfa AWUS036H [b/g USB]
      Ubiquiti SRC [a/b/g Cardbus]
      Ubiquiti SRX [a/b/g ExpressCard]
      Airpcap series [USB]

Also, Wifite is for BACKTRACK4 (it says so in the program description at the
top); not Ubuntu 10.10. BT4 is Ubuntu (8.10), but BackTrack4 has lots of
pre-patched wireless drivers and support for more wireless devices.
