Hide Elements faster #65

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Click on the read it Icon

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

It should hide immediately and next item should open but instead it waits until 
the request to the server is finished. Which is quite annoying on a high delay 
or slow connection.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.7 on FF4 (ubuntu)

Right, I have the same behaviour (1.7 on FF3.6) didn't know it was waiting for 
a server answer but it seems logical. Some feeds takes about 30s to be "marked 
as read" (Slow answers from pictures/scripts/ ... linked on the website that 
has the feed)
