Most channels not working #9

Hi,

Having an issue now where most channels will not play. Will only play when I enable a full VPN.

I have a Smart DNS with Getflix but that isn't the issue as Zattoo works fine with the iPad app and the Getflix DNS.

Seems to be an issue with the Kodi app.

Hi,

The addon has not been designed to be used with any "geo-blocking-bypass" proxy, although it should work if properly configured.. If someone can help feel free to post below.

The streams just don't start on most channels. Could this be related to the issue in the TV guide thread?

Was all working fine two to three days ago and now most streams won't start.

If you use FTV guide then yes it needs to be fixed to work properly with last ZB release. I sent the author what needs to be fixed. I guess it's in progress.

Thanks. I'm not using the FTV guide.

I just don't understand that Zattoo was working fine up until two days ago with no intervention. It is working fine via the iPad with Getflix and your app has also been working fine with Getflix.

Both the PiB and Pi2 aren't working anymore. Might have to go back and Airplay from iPad to Apple TV.

I tried a fresh install of Jodi on the PiB but still not working. Strange that when I start full VPN on the Pi the app starts working again.

I have tried previous version with no luck.

Some streams are playing and some are not. I have been able to capture the Kodi log as there are errors 401 and 22 for the streams that do not play.

Perhaps you can make some sense of what is happening.

Basing on the these logfiles, I can see that the addon is working properly. Kodi is unable to play the URL returned from Zattoo API. Might be a problem with Kodi (try to update), DRM issues with specific channels, or the proxy not working well.

Thank you. It does look like it is the Smart DNS. iPad app is failing on some streams too now.

I'll chase this up with the provider.
