Black Screen #9

Hi,

When i load nxt client and then i run alt1 all goes to a black screen, at this point i close alt1, i go to composite configuration change my render engine to XRender, apply, i change my render engine to OpenGL 2.0 (default), and apply again. And voala, alt1 running ok. I can avoid the black screen problem if before starting alt1 for first time i change my render and get back to default render after nxt client runs.

I hope this help to some people having his problem.

Von.

When running ./alt1run.sh on its own I get an error:

render type:= 3
65
12
render type:= 2
render type:= 1
CustomRenderProcessHandler.Create
ERROR: sandbox_linux.cc(343) InitializeSandbox() called with multiple threads in process gpu-process
create alt1

Tried to bypass this with ./alt1run.sh --disable-gpu --disable-software-rasterizer as per this page No errors now, just the below output:

render type:= 3
65
12
render type:= 1
CustomRenderProcessHandler.Create
create alt1

Unfortunately at this point I get black screened, so I have to alt-tab back to alt1 and ctrl+c to stop the process. Still black screen, even after changing renderer.

Hi, You need a composite manager that support transparent windows (Compiz on ubuntu 16.04) and have transparency enabled. The black screen it self is the overlay windows that should be transparent and non clickable
