Raise ulimit from 1024 #36

Something to consider. We had a sequence get stuck because there were 'too many files open'

is there a way to set this permanently system-wide to a higher default?

Likely. Brief google search led me to this.

Ah. Good. I thought I'd remembered something like these options existing someplace, but couldn't ever find them again. In this scenario, your Google-fu is stronger than mine. bows dramatically
