Will it be possible to use the Nano IOS wallet app with a hardware wallet? #685

I would love to keep more currency on my Nano IOS wallet app but I don't want my phone to be stolen and my funds to be lost.

Has there been any discussion around somehow connecting a hardware wallet to the mobile wallet? Is there any technical way for this to be possible?
