Calyptopis 1-3, Furcilia 1-10 and Zoea 1-5 are not found in https://vocab.nerc.ac.uk/collection/S11/current/. That vocab doesn't have any "phases" for Calyptopis, Furcilia and Zoea
- From NVS S11 vocab:
- calyptopis has no definition!
- protozoeae: Free-swimming planktonic larval forms of decapod crustaceans with three recognised development sub-stages (Dall et al., 1990).
- zoeae: Free-swimming planktonic larval form of decapod crustaceans (especially crabs) with a relatively large cephalothorax, conspicuous eyes, and fringed antennae and mouthparts.
These are also not found: Bract, Gonophore, Nectophore, Polyp

Looks like here the higher-level groups are labelled "phases" and the sub-groups are "stages"
See Fig. 1.6., covering all the lifestages, but w/o stages (ie, no numbers)
Progression: Calyptopis > Furcilia
- p. 16 (in "Euphausiacea (Krill)—Life Cycle and Development" section): "Following the metanauplius are three feeding calyptopis larvae"
- p. 16 (in "Euphausiacea (Krill)—Life Cycle and Development" section): "After this [calyptopis] comes a phase of 3–6 furcilia larvae (number is species-dependent)"
Zoeae
- Several figures depict protozoeae and zoeae. eg, Fig 1.8, "Larval stages of Brachyura (Decapoda). (A–D) Zoea 1 to 4 of Pilumnus reticulatus (Brachyura)...."
- p. 17 ("Dendrobranchiata"): "Development of dendrobranchiates can be divided into a number of phases, during each of which the larval stages in the series changes only relatively little (Fig. 1.7). These phases are (following Martin et al. 2014c): a phase of nonfeeding nauplii (five to eight stages), a protozoeal phase (three stages), a mysis phase (variable number mentioned in literature), and a decapodid phase."
- p. 20: "The development of pleocyematan decapods can roughly be divided into two phases: (1) an early zoeal phase in which thoracopods (maxillipeds and pereopods) are used for locomotion and feeding, and (2) a later decapodid phase in which the pleopods have become the limbs responsible for locomotion."
