claymore 10 ubuntu latest

ETH: Stratum - Cannot connect to eu1.ethermine.org:4444 ETH: Stratum - Failed to connect, retry in 20 sec... watchdog - eminer thread hangs Miner thread hangs, need to restart miner!

no issues are being reported in log files with any GPUs (i am using RX 570s). Sometimes it happens after connection to the pool has been lost. Sometimes after dev fee mining when it tries to re-connect.

Same error here. But only since 1 week or so

dzobnin commented 6 years ago

problem with pool perhaps?

Devil-of-Chaos commented 6 years ago

no I miner hangs and I don't thin nanopool has so much problems

Nuitari commented 6 years ago

So I've been having this issue on and off and it turns out the Decred pool I'm using sometimes conks out. I've setup a backup using local mining which helps but isn't enough.

DCR: http error #7. DCR: Failed to connect to pool (dcr-gw.suprnova.cc:9111), retry in 10 sec... Miner starts again, but somehow the memory from the OpenCL GPUs isn't cleared and then its out of memory...

I know it is not an actual graphic card problem because ALL of my rigs crashed in the same way.

same here....

dzobnin commented 6 years ago

Changed from wifi to wired connection and haven’t seen it since

tedkimzikto commented 6 years ago

So i will have to assume that it was just a network problem? I had my option -r 1 that might be the causing the problem

dzobnin commented 6 years ago

I think the problem is with linux usb driver not so much the network. Imo

ustrucx commented 6 years ago

Would be cool to have some pool options for devfee....I can mine alright on dwarf but once dev try to mine on ethermine for some reason my network cant reach it so it decides to just crash the rig and stop mining, only fix is power cycle....pretty sad
