nvidia powermizer performace level change #32

i noticed that every time i run the miner the performance level in nvidia powermize drop from 3 to 2 so the gpu is not used at full potential? is there any fix for this?

Have you tried overclocking the memory on the GPU?

i did but that's not the point, it should not underpower the gpu, since is using power level 2 instead of 3 the memory clock go down, i "fix" this overclocking even more but this should not happen

Does it fluctuate between 2 and 3 or consistently at level 2? Sometimes my miner does the same but from what I understand it's based on the "luck" of the pool: sometimes your miner does more work for a given block, and sometimes less. But regardless, the "reported" hashrate as reported by the Claymore miner stays about the same. What does your miner dashboard (if you're using ethermine for example) look like?

it stay at 2 all the time, i'm mining at a constant hashrate, with my 1070 i'm mining at 26, to reach the maximum performance i need to add around 400Mhz to reach the lv 3 and then more for the real OC
