2 years ago Just to make sure: did you use something like DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to remove the old driver before installing the new one? Maybe due to the Windows Update some core component got crapped up.
Have you tried some tool to check CUDA in general is working? SOmething like CUDA-Z or just GPU-Z to get details about CUDA being there?

No I did not, only manualy deinstalled the Nvidia drivers and reinstalled them. But after your feedback I did.
The reinstallation of the nvidia drivers using DDU actualy did not solve the problem - but changed the behaviour. the system either crasehes with a bluescreen saying "VIDEO_SCHEDULAR_INTERNAL_ERROR" or the message in nanominer "2021-Oct-25 16:48:20: System exception: 2021-Oct-25 16:48:20: device: 0; an illegal memory access was encountered 2021-Oct-25 16:48:20: Can't work on device: 0"

2 years ago Okay, that is very interesting (and frustrating to pinpoint the real problem).
As this is some "non replaceable" GPU "swapping PCIe ports" does not make sense here. After search the internet a bit, I stumbled upon this here: https://www.reddit.com/r/techsupport/comments/7nodtn/bsod_video_scheduler_internal_error_nightmare/
That thread tells something about problems with the RAM (maybe RAM-handling is different after the upgrade?!), not sure if your RAM is replaceable, but maybe you want to recheck if the RAM is placed correctly or reseat the modules.
The error VIDEO_SCHEDULAR_INTERNAL_ERROR somehow points to hardware instability, hopefully not the case here.
Can you run games normally with the card? Just to confirm it working "normal"?

2 years ago I can try the replacement ofcourse, if there is the physical option, which I doubt but I will check it. Games run smooth even using highest resolution.
