Dorado version nomenclature on minKNOW #735

Hi, On the minKnow report of our sequencing run, the dorado version is 7.2.13. Would it possible to know what version this is ? because the nomenclature seems to be different here. The current version for example is 0.6.0 Many thanks, Selma.

Hi @selmapichot, at the moment there is not an exact mapping between versions of the Dorado basecall server - which runs in MinKNOW and was versioned as 7.2.13 - and the standalone Dorado version. Dorado basecall server 7.2.13 was between Dorado 0.3.4 and 0.4.0. In the future, we are planning to release a standalone Dorado version in the basecall server archives to simplify this.
