Hey @ChazKlein,
Glad your team is enjoying the templates.
We haven't tested the current version of our package with anything beyond EPiServer.CMS.TinyMCE 2.8.0. We are currently working on a package that will cover all TinyMCE versions up to the latest. We hope to have it out soon and we will update you here once its available in the Episerver Nuget Feed.
Thanks
@debpu06 That sounds great; really appreciate the quick response as well! I will go ahead and test out the current version of your package with the new TinyMCE version and let you know if I run into any issues. If it doesn't work, do you happen to have any timeline for the update just so I can inform the team and give them some sort of eta? Once again, much appreciated!
@debpu06 Just wanted to let you know that I tested this out by installing it and using -IgnoreDependencies and it's working perfectly in the newest CMS along with EPiServer.CMS.TinyMce version 2.10.1.
I'm sure you'd like to do some testing yourself but just wanted to let you know that this will work for us for the time being, and we'll be sure to upgrade whenever your newest version comes out. Thanks a lot.
Wanting to see if you had any updates on this package? We just upgraded again and ran into the same issue and was wondering if you had planned on updating the dependencies. Thanks!
Btw, extremely small world... I just realized I worked with you at Adage back in 2013. Hope all is well! 😄
Hey @debpu06 - We are looking to upgrade our solution again next week and were looking to see if you had a chance to update this to allow for the newer dependencies on TinyMCE or not? Thanks.
@ChazKlein Unfortunately we have not yet. I can try to push to get it finished up this week since this has become more of a priority for you. I will let you know. Thanks
Great thanks @debpu06
We were using this package and our Content editors really enjoyed the ability to quickly insert Bootstrap templates directly from the RTE. However we just updated all of our Episerver packages and we are now using EPiServer.CMS.TinyMCE version 2.10.1 and according to this package, it's only compatible up to 2.8.0 so we removed it.
Will this still work with the newer versions of TinyMCE and the dependency info just hasn't been updated? Or will this in fact not be compatible if we try to add it back in?
Thank you!
