Is this package still going to be maintained #279

I see that there hasn't been updates for awhile. Was wondering if there are plans to update by the originator or any other group? I've sent a message to the originator and am awaiting a response.

There are various biometric libararies. expo-local-authentication and react-native-keychain are good examples
