Follow-up to version switcher

This PR

~~Removes old files from the root of the gh-pages branch (for deduplication)~~ (This would cause google to point people to broken pages since the redirect isn't working, so I am keeping them for now)
Fixes a few images that were not showing in non-dev versions of the docs
Fixes the version switcher to point to "v0.4.16 (stable)" instead of just "stable"
Recreates the previous documentation versions to include the version switcher

Please don't mind the huge amount of files changed; they are rebuilt with the version switcher which is why this happens. No content (other than a few images that were missing) should be changed in the actual rendered pages.

Just noticed that the redirect seems to be broken for some reason so I'll need to review this before merging. Sorry about that!

Alright - here's a workaround at least to get the website working. The redirect fix will come in a separate PR.
