As per https://forums.factorio.com/viewtopic.php?p=194011#p194011, by default it should contain only Homeworld sand (predictably named sand), and refer to the ore by entity name, not by category (so the category-based check can go away again, yay!).
Worth noting that with RSO, sand is reasonably distributed, so perhaps include some instructions to turn that back off. Or consider an admin-only settings screen to alter the config on the fly.
