Fluke not compatible with iTunes 10. #23

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Upgrade to iTunes 10.
2. Close iTunes.
3. Install and launch Fluke.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Launching Fluke launches iTunes and Fluke closes immediately. Hence .flac and
.ogg files can't be opened in Fluke, nor can they be dragged on top of the
Fluke icon.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Fluke 0.2.5b, Mac OSX 10.6.4., iTunes 10.0.0.

Please provide any additional information below.

I can play FLAC on 10, after installing itunes 10 (without doing anything
special with Fluke), but FLAC songs that were able to play on itunes 9.2.1 go
to a itunes movie window, which isn't ideal.

Getting the same problem.

I just installed Fluke for the first time, after having installed iTunes a week
or so ago (new MBP). Fluke launches iTunes, then Fluke closes. Trying to add
.flac files simply doesn't work. Can't drag-and-drop, can't add manually via
File menu, can't import via "Automatically add to iTunes" folder (though no
errors are ever produced).

Fluke 0.2.5b, Mac OS X 10.6.4, iTunes 10.0.1.

I can't drag .flac files into iTunes 10.0.1, but if I open the files with Fluke
directly it works fine. Hopefully this works for those also experiencing this
issue.

I freaked out today because fluke wasn't working. i'm running itunes 10.2.1 on
mac 10.6.7.
but everything is fine now.
i had to uninstall fluke 0.2.5b and install fluke 0.11. now i can go both ways
with flac files: "open with" or drag and drop. perfect!

Nothing I could do would get Fluke 0.2.5b to work with iTunes 10.2.2. However,
uninstalling and installing Fluke 0.11 worked for me, no problems.

Fluke 0.2.5 works for me with iTunes 10.6.1 on OS X Snow Leopard (10.6.8).

I have do some import problems suddenly with iTunes 10.6.3 on OS X Leopard
(10.5.8), but I hope to be able to solve them.

When you have a problem please be specific with your OS X version and iTunes
version.
