IE8 Quick-Search does not work #145

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Go to Example 3: http://flexigrid.info/
2. Open search & try to start search with IE8. (Works with other browsers

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would expect a reduced list. But it does not load any data.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
WinXP-IE8.
