Remove DTNMA components from ION source tree #32

Open BrianSipos opened 6 months ago

BrianSipos commented 6 months ago

The DTNMA (formerly "AMP") components have been separated into a separate APL-controlled project DTNMA Tools.

The original sources within ION can be removed and the automake config can be patched to remove the associated build steps and targets.

Removing these will reduce the maintenance burden on the ION project.

@BrianSipos Thank you for letting us know. We look forward to reincorporating the new DTNMA component back into ION soon. Right now, we are talking to existing ION users who still need the DTNMA (AMP) prototype for their development and testing, so the time for removal is still TBD.
