Resolves two issues in this implementation:

The second argument is expected to be a table of attributes, but if the element had no attributes at all, it may be nil.
Use the lua stack for concatenating the strings, rather than a luaL_Buffer object. This avoids the 8KiB limitation.

Fixes #33
