Possibly Add Additional Info for Challenges/Mitigation #820

One feedback item from a number of learners during a training session was there doesn't seem to be enough acknowledgement that: 1) Science is still very competitive (one person even referred to it as a "contact sport") 2) Even when you're doing open science and doing things ethically, a number of people still don't. This can be even more of an issue when dealing with individuals/institution/countries that do not respect intellectual property right, licenses, etc. 3) We have not reached critical mass yet for individuals/institutions practicing open science, so there are still a lot of gaps to close in terms of processes, recognition, etc.

Some of these are touched on in Mod 1 and reinforced a little in the other modules, but they did not think we spent enough time on this to make it clear that these can be real issues and the mitigations we offered for them might not be clear or strong enough.

Thanks @brian-knosp for your comment and thoughts! The OS101 Team agrees that there are many challenges to open science, and you hit 3 good ones! As always, we encourage instructors to determine how much time and emphasis they want to devote to specific challenges in their trainings, depending on their audience. This is also a good point that we will bring up with the NASA Center Champions who are in the process of shortening their ILT presentations and sessions. And finally, if there are specific spots within the content that you recommend a change, we would welcome your thoughts.
