Indicators inconsistent between FireFox / Chrome

Summary

Indicators in Firefox have the text buttons on the indicator bar with icon. Indicators in Chrome are a click pop-up with text buttons.

• Browser: Chrome / Firefox

Additional Information

I also noticed that installing the Example User plugin hides/breaks the notification bell indicator. Though, not much documentation on how it is used as an example.

I just downloaded release/4.0.0, still present. As is my staleness report. As is another I found, properties menu on firefox in the browse navigator doesn't work.
