Hi @amarouane @ghrcdaac @richielo I propose to decomission and archive this project. Why?

It has not been touched in years and the build was broken around that same time
There is currently momentum behind the https://github.com/nasa/python_cmr project
It is confusing if there is more than one Python SDK in varying states of health within the NASA Github Org Any thoughts? Thanks

@lewismc @amarouane @ghrcdaac @richielo just released v0.11.0 of python_cmr . It does seem like this library also supported updates to CMR (not sure if it's still functional though) which python_cmr does not do; python_cmr is simply a search client.

If we want to maintain that distinction I'd support it but seeing as this repo does not seem to be actively maintained anymore I would support archival with a note pointing people to python_cmr for their python cmr search needs.

BEFORE Hi @frankinspace this is a blast from the past. Excellent work on python_cmr. I was never a maintainer of this library… only a contributor. I wish you folks the best and excellent work Frank on the releases.
