Illegal CURIEs aren't ignored #6

I am using your RDFa jQuery Plugin (which is really cool!) and I noticed that 
it returns an exception 
(e.g. Malformed CURIE: No prefix and no default namespace for unprefixed CURIE 
external) if 
microformats (e.g. rel=external) are included in the area to parse.
I guess that is not a desired behaviour, right?
