Hey guys, when do you want to have our first review? Given that the exercises for the chapters are subdivided (warmups, simple problems, complex problems, etc - or whatever he calls 'em), I was thinking that try to tackle the chapter 1 warmups and meet to discuss our solutions in 1 week or 3 weeks time, so as not to conflict with the regular book club and allow folks a chance to actually be present. Given that, which would you prefer? I'd personally lean towards 3 weeks (e.g. March 6th or 7th), but it's up to y'all

I'd prefer to lean towards 3 weeks time too. I'll determine by then if I actually have the time to commit to doing maths, in the midst of :baby: and actually being back at work.

vinbarnes commented 10 years ago

3 weeks works best for me too. Let's do the easiest thing to have the most chance of success: just the warmups. :+1:

@rick @awebneck @jcockhren @arafatm we shelved the first meeting so we need to reschedule. I wouldn't mind doing it on a different day. Thoughts? Also wanted to throw out the idea of a meeting after work? π

I'm down for after work. I prefer Tue or Thu though. Also, my weekends are free
