Error -5, 'No address associated with hostname'

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Select a recorded show in the main window.
2. press Enter.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The recorded show should start, instead i get the error message: Error: 
Catchall Exception ( -5, 'No address associated with hostname).
The same happens when I want to watch live TV.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Mythbox RC1, Mythbuntu 10.04

Please provide any additional information below.
My Mythtv backend runs on a my Server with the Ip 192.168.1.39

Sorry I have forgot to mention, that I tried the two solutions from this forum 
and they haven't worked. At least, if I made everything right.

Same basic problem as Issue 98.  Please try the version in comment 6.
