Flashlight not working in OS 10.10.5 #543

I installed the flash light but the spotlight behaves the same as before. I am new to mac, so do I have to do any tweaks manually.

Try this https://gist.github.com/selaromi/59666a71387d39b5bfac It may tell you some error when you turn on your mac. And don't work for some mins. However, it will work later.
