Can I use this with virtual machines that don't have GPUs? #1

I'm getting started with slurm and the docs on schedmd assume that I already have a cluster that I can install slurm on. I'd like to use this to create a simple cluster, but my cluster will be composed of virtual machines which don't have a GPU. Will this work?

I'm not sure; I only tried with physical machines. I don't see why it wouldn't work with virtual machines, but I also don't see why you'd use virtual machines other than to practice the install/config.

I’m learning so I’m using VMs. Step 0 seems to be build a cluster.
