Paladins not proficient with holy symbols?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Choose Paladin (Player's Handbook) class
2. Go to feats, show illegal elements
3. Look for a feat that requires holy symbol proficiency (Devout Protector 
Expertise, Mighty Crusader Expertise)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The text on the feat is red. If you don't show illegal elements, the feat 
doesn't show up at all. The feat should be there because Paladins should be 
proficient with holy symbols.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows 7, unsure of version number (How do I check?)

Please provide any additional information below.

Actually, I just noticed Avengers have the same problem as well.
