Not showing new Git commits for some projects' repos #79

For some projects on Observatory, new commits to the Git repository are not being shown.

I've verified this with my project. Only the first commit is shown in Observatory and the git repo URL is the correct git:// read-only URL from Github.

Below are links to my project where this problem is happening.

Most repositories are currently up to date at this point with exception of the several projects with bad clone_urls. Nate fixed a couple of them up today.

We believe the issue stems from some sort of issue with certain processes hanging and sorta clogging up the system. I just pushed up a commit which should fix a bunch of these issue, but I'm not sure if we're out of the woods yet.

We'll need more time for @NateStedman to update the live instance and confirm the fixes before closing the issue.

I'm noting this problem as well. My project is LaForge. Observatory followed my first three commits without issue and then stopped.

@hortont424 caused this we think, so I'm making him fix it (he got his laptop back from the Apple hospital yesterday).
